Available Position: Structural Project Engineer


We're looking for an experienced structural designer.


All applicants must have the following minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science degree from an accreddited Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering program
  • 3-year minimum experience in structural design
  • 1-year minimum experience designing structures in California per CBC, including seismic design.
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, Excel, RISA (or similar), CBC, ASCE 7, NDS, ACI 318, AISC 360, AISC 341
  • Experienced in engineering wood, steel, concrete, and masonry elements


Job Duties:

  • Design structural systems for residential projects.  Manage your own projects from start to finish.
  • Calculate and detailing wood framing, steel framing, retaining walls, and foundations
  • Communicate with Architects to produce a cohesive design.  Communicate with contractors to problem solve.
  • Drafting of plans and details, prepare calculation package for submittal to building department
  • Construction Administration: Answer RFI's, perform site visits and on-site inspections, problem solve.
